The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly app that lets you pick the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are also excellent as the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only minor issue is that it can crash into walls and objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed and the obstacles it's avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs must be completed including emptying the debris tray and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank automatically with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you see all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. This year's model has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This increases the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that enables it to pull up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
As with the other two Roborock models I've tried, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by having a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It then can automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek, angular design is striking, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to send the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-filling.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, track the battery life and maintain your components. automatic vacuum cleaner 'll need to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering the performance otherwise.
3. Dreame X40

4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available however, it comes with a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature on its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can vacuum up pet hair and smaller dirt particles and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a great method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There's an impressive amount of settings available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and alter a variety of preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also has several features that aren't available on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on the market, with metallic and white colors that looks elegant and classy. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is well designed and the double-rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
